Two 14-year-old residents of Barjeed village of Porshnev Jamoat of Shugnan region of GBAO drowned yesterday in a local lake.
As reported by the Tajik Emergency and Civil Defense Committee, dead bodies were found by local rescuers.
Tajik Emergency Committee urges citizens and visitors of Tajikistan to be careful when swimming in lakes and rivers of the country. According to the committee, a total of 118 citizens of Tajikistan have drowned in rivers and lakes of the country in 2011.
