The third regional exhibition contest “Energy saving and resource recycling technologies 2012” will open June 2 in the Tajik Mining and Smelting Institute in Chkalovs, Sughd province.
The event will be organized by the Tajik Ministry of Energy and Industry in collaboration with Sughd administration, Tajik Mining and Smelting Institute, regional Environment Protection Department, YGPE NGO and OSCE Office in Tajikistan.
The exhibition will be conducted in the form of the open contest in the field of modern energy and resource saving technologies and techniques, the organizational committee told AP.
The overall goal of the exhibition is to reveal, compile and distribute experience in development and use of energy saving and resource recycling technologies, provide opportunities for implementation of creative potential of innovators and rationalizers, promote best achievements in energy saving and resource recycling sectors.
Universities, secondary schools, scientific and research organizations, industrial enterprises, dekhkan farms, commercial structures, rationalizers and creators are invited to take part in the exhibition.
The contest is open for both personal and group works in the form of models, schemes, layouts, sketches and etc.
Representatives from all regions of Tajikistan and guests from Kyrgyzstan are expected to attend the event.
The following criteria will be used to evaluate the designs: novelty, energy efficiency, ecological compatibility, ease and safety, accessibility, use of renewable energy sources, multifunctionality, applicability for mass production and use (usability) and creativity.
Winners will be awarded valuable prizes and certificates.
