DUSHANBE, July 19, 2012, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon visited the Vahdat Township today.

According to the president’s official website, the purpose of the visit was for the president to get acquainted with the current economic situation in Vahdat.

President Rahmon reportedly visited more than ten farming units and industrial enterprises in the area and addressed a meeting of heads of the districts subordinate to the center and other regional administrators in Vahdat, the source said.
