DUSHANBE, August 9, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Czech President Vaclav Klaus has appointed Hynek Pejcha new Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, with residence in Tashkent.

Mr. Pejcha has replaced Ambassador Robert Kopetski, who ended his tenure as Czech ambassador to the mentioned countries in October 2011.

Hynek Pejcha is a professional diplomat, and is now actively preparing for his new diplomatic mission in Central Asia, the Czech Embassy in Tashkent said.
