DUSHANBE, September 17, 2012, Asia-Plus — Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev held a meeting on September 17 to discuss preparations to ensure the regular work of the city’s economy during autumn-winter 2012-2013, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, said.
The meeting also considered issues related to improvement of the water supply, sanitary-epidemiological situation in the city, and enhancement of work of the passenger transport service.
The mayor noted at the meeting that a special commission set up for revealing the cause of the fire at the Korvon marketplace will report on its work on September 19.
