DUSHANBE, October 31, 2012 Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes.

Mirzoahmad Ahmadzoda appointed chairman of the Mastchoh district (Sughd province), replacing Abdukarim Hikmatov.

Abdukarim Hikmatov was appointed director general of the state unitary enterprise (SUE) Vostokredmet (the Industrial Association Eastern Combine for Rare Metals), an industrial complex in Sughd province.

Zafar Saidov was relieved of his post of deputy director of the Sughd Free Economic Zone (FEZ).

By government’s decree Isroil Nosirov was relieved of his post of director of the unit for implementation of hydropower projects under the Government of Tajikistan.  By president’s decree he was appointed director of the unit for implementation of hydropower projects under the President of Tajikistan.

Said Siddiqov, formerly head of the information and analytical department at President’s Executive Office, was appointed first deputy director of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting, replacing Habibullo Noziri,

Sirojiddin Izzatulloyev was appointed editor-in-chief of

Narodnaya Gazeta

(Russian-language mouthpiece of the government), replacing Vladimir Vorobyov.

Yoqubjon Abdumannonov was appointed editor-in-chief of

Khalq Ovosi

(Uzbek-language mouthpiece of the government), replacing Haidar Jourayev.     

Ms. Shahlo Nasriddinova, who had previously served as deputy chairperson of the TV Channel “Safina,” was appointed edit-in-chief of the Bonouvoni Tojik magazine, replacing Huriniso Alizoda.

Ms. Huriniso Alizoda was appointed deputy director of the National Library of Tajikistan.

Nodir Mirzoyev was appointed deputy director of the National Library of Tajikistan.

By president’s decree Kamol Abdurahimov was relieved of his post of editor-in-chief of

Jumhuriyat

(Tajik-language mouthpiece of the government).

Abdurashid Khujamqulov, formerly first deputy director of the TV Channel “Safina,” was appointed director of Tajik Radio.

Samariddin Gadoyev was appointed director of the TV Channel “Shabakai Avval” (Channel One).

President met with newly appointed officials yesterday and he called on them to devotedly serve the people and the country.
