DUSHANBE, January 14, 2013, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill on a mandatory pension insurance at a January 14 meeting, presided over by its head, Shukurjon Zuhurov.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board also considered a bill on an investment agreement and a number of bills requiring amendments to the laws on militsiya (police) and public associations as well as the country’s family code.

All these issues will be considered at a sitting of the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that will take place on January 17, Sultonov said.
