DUSHANBE, January 15, 2013, Asia-Plus  — In 2012, President Emomali Rahmon made twelve working trips across the country, according to the president’s official website.

Last year, the president reportedly visited Khorog, Shugnan, Rushan, Khujand (twice), Bobojonghafurov, Konibodom, Isfara, Chkalovsk, Ayni, Panjakent, Shahriston, Istaravshan, Qairoqqum, Danghara (twice), Yovon, Raht, Tavildara, Roghun, Vahdat, Roudaki and Hisor (three times).

In 2012, Emomali Rahmon also paid 16 state, official and working visits to twelve countries of the world.

The president last year paid state visits to China and India, official visits to Finland, Turkey Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, and working visits to Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Brazil, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the State of Kuwait, Ukraine, Switzerland and the Russian Federation (three times).
