KULOB, February 4, 2013, Asia-Plus — A meeting of entrepreneurs from all the ten districts of Kulob region, Khatlon province took place in Kulob on February 2.

Heads of all the ten districts attended the meeting that was presided over by GhaybulloAvzalov, Governor of Khatlon Province and DavlataliSaidov, Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest).

Meanwhile some representatives of local authorities say issues related to repayment of loan debts and raising legal awareness of local entrepreneurs were a major topic of the meeting.

According to the statistical data from the Khatlon regional administration, 78,000 entrepreneurial groups, including 45,000 dehqon (peasant) farms, now operate in the province.
