DUSHANBE, February 18, 2013, Asia-Plus  — During his working visit to Turkey, Shukurjon Zuhurov, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), reportedly visited the city of Konya last weekends.

Muhammadato Sultonov a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says Shukurjon Zuhurov held talks with representatives of Turkish business community in Istanbul and Konya.

During the meetings, Tajik parliamentary speakers called on Turkish entrepreneurs to cooperate more actively with Tajikistan.  He, in particular, noted 64 Tajik-Turkish joint ventures were currently operating in Tajikistan.
