DUSHANBE, April 19, 2013, Asia-Plus — The Branch Office of the International Organization “Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation” in Tajikistan (OSI/AF-Tajikistan) in corporation with the Ministry of Education of Tajikistan and in partnership with diplomatic missions and the international organizations will hold the 2013 Annual Educational Fair in Dushanbe on April 20.
According to press release issued OSI/AF-Tajikistan, the fair will take place at the VEFA Center from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The fair will present education programs of diplomatic missions, international organizations and some foreign universities. Representatives of these organizations will provide visitors with promotional materials and gave innovative lectures on study and professional development opportunities within Tajikistan and overseas.
The Ministry of education of Tajikistan, U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe, OSI/AF-Tajikistan, the National Testing Center (NTC), the University of Central Asia (UCA), American Councils for International Education (ACTR/ACCELS), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Bactria Cultural Center, the European Union’s TEMPUS Program, German Language Center, Imkon Consulting, Knowledge Across Borders and The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical
Experience (IAESTE) will participate at the fair.
The educational fair has taken place since 2001. Regional Annual Educational Fairs 2013 will be conducted on the following dates: April 23, at Khujand State University from 12:00 to 15:00; May 3, at Kulob State University from 12:00 to 15:00; May 4, at Qurghon Teppa State University from 12:00 to 15:00; and May 15, at Khorog State University from 12:00 to 15:00.
The aim of the Tajikistan Annual Educational Fair is to inform potential students about their opportunities to study abroad and at the same time to introduce market opportunities in Tajikistan to education providers, such as Universities, Colleges and Language Schools. It provides the opportunity for the promotion of quality education providers and the enrolment of students from Tajikistan.
