Over the last six years BAS has achieved remarkable results: more than 340 projects and more than 100 market development activities have been undertaken in Tajikistan, working to improve the quality and the availability o f business advisory services in Tajikistan. Although considerable progress has been made over the past six years, with several new consulting companies established, the consulting market in Tajikistan is still poor and not all SME business owners fully understand the role consulting plays in business development.
Entrepreneurs still need to be informed about the types of consulting services and the advantages consulting projects can bring. BAS therefore regularly holds events, trainings and workshops to attract professional consultants for conduct informational events for the business sector. More than 3,000 entrepreneurs have had the opportunity to visit BAS events and get information about consulting services.
