DUSHANBE, November 19, 2013, Asia-Plus — An enlarged meeting of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, presided over by Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, took place on November 18.

Speaking at the meeting, the mayor reportedly ordered heads of relevant municipal services to check preparedness of snow plows for the upcoming winter.

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office says the mayor also ordered relevant agencies to control repair operations carried out at the Western boiler house

The mayor also pointed to the necessity of implementation of decisions that put ban on keeping livestock in Dushanbe.

He also pointed to the necessity of observance of the fire safety rules and the sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

The mayor expressed dissatisfaction with work of the Unit for Implementation of the Dushanbe Solid Waste Management Project and asked the Dushanbe prosecutor’s office and the anticorruption agency’s office in Dushanbe to inspect its work, Saidov said.
