DUSHANBE, November 22, 2013, Asia-Plus — The first deputy mayor of Dushanbe and heads of Dushanbe’s districts may be sacked for failure to ensure implementation of decisions that put ban on keeping livestock in Dushanbe.

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office says that the Dushanbe local council (Majlis) has found work of these officials unsatisfactory.

The first deputy of Dushanbe, and heads of Dushanbe’s districts of Sino (Zafar Safarov), Firdavsi (Saidnouriddin Aliyev, Ismoili Somoni (Alamkhon Qurbonov) and Shohmansour (Samandar Boboyev) have reportedly been reprimanded and given time until January 1, 2014 to remove shortcomings existing in their work.

The aforementioned people were warned that more strict measures would be taken against them if they fail to implement their duties in future, the spokesman said.
