DUSHANBE, January 19, 2014, Asia-Plus – By president’s decree President’s Executive Office has been reorganized.

The apparatus of presidential state advisors has been reorganized into the apparatus of presidential aides.

Positions of senior advisors to the president, aides to the president and the prime minister working with secretariats of the president and the prime minister are abolished.

Positions of the head of President’s Executive Office and two deputy heads, including the first deputy head, are established.

In connection with the restructuring of President’s Executive Office the following departments and centers are abolished: legal department, department for economic reforms and investment; finance department; organizing department; department of labor and social protection; department for health, family and women’s affairs; department of science and education; department of culture; department for youth, sports and tourism affairs; information and analytical department; department of transport; department of construction and architecture; department of agriculture and land management; department for environmental protection and emergency situations; department for cooperation with foreign countries; general department; department for defense and public order; department for guarantee of constitutional rights of citizens; information and technical center; personnel department; and secretariat of the governmental commission for solving territorial and border issues.

By president’s decree the new structure of President’s Executive Office includes: President’s Executive Office management; Aide to the President for Economic Matters; Aide to the President for Foreign Affairs; Aide to the President for Personnel Issues; Aide to the President for Social Development Issues and Public Relations; Aide to the President for Legal Issues and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President to the Parliament; Secretariat of the President of Tajikistan; Protocol Service of the President of Tajikistan; Press Service of the President of Tajikistan. Secretariat of the Prime Minister of Tajikistan; Legal Directorate; Directorate for Strategic Planning and Reforms; Finance Directorate; Directorate for Work with Local Authorities; Social Development Directorate; Science and Education Directorate; Infrastructure Development Directorate; Directorate for Agriculture and Environmental Protection; Directorate form Foreign Cooperation; Office Work and Control Directorate; Directorate for Defense and Public Order; Department for Human Rights Guarantee, Translation Department; Department for Religious Affairs and Regulation of National Traditions and Rituals; Center for Information and Communications Technologies; Personnel Department; Department for Special Works; General Bookkeeping Department; General Service Directorate; and Enterprises and Agencies under President’s Executive Office.
