ASIA-Plus

, which is social and political newspaper, marks its 14th anniversary today.

The newspaper was issued weekly until 2011, when a twice-a-week schedule commenced.     


ASIA-Plus

has been published since January 2000.  Reviewing the results of work of Tajik media outlets in 2000, the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan recognized ASIA-Plus as “the newspaper of the most efficient and authentic news.”

In 2001, the newspaper was given the Lohouti Award instituted by the Tajik Journalists’ Union.

Today, the newspaper has the highest circulation of any social and political newspaper in Tajikistan and holds a leading position among Russian-language newspapers.
