DUSHANBE, January 24, 2014, Asia-Plus — Russia’s Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) Vozrozhdeniye is expected to open its office in Tajikistan.

On Thursday January 23, Tajik Minister of Industry and New Technologies Shavkat Boboyev met here with senior representatives of Vozrozhdeniye, who arrived in Dushanbe to participate in a meeting of the Tajik-Russian intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation.

An official source at the Ministry of Energy and New Technologies (MoINT) says the sides discussed issues related to establishment of cooperation on production of building materials and extraction of coal in Tajikistan.

“The Russian company noted that it intends to open its office in Tajikistan and deliver construction engineering to the republic,” the source added.
