DUSHANBE, January 30, 2014, Asia-Plus — The Migration Service of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of Tajikistan informs that more than 964,500 people migrated out of Tajikistan last year.

Of them, some 800,000 people, including nearly 101,000 women, are labor migrants.

The overwhelming majority of them traveled to Russia (more than 788,500) and Kazakhstan (some 8,600).

Meanwhile, 642,800 people returned back to Tajikistan over the report period, including some 552,900 men and some 90,000 women.
