DUSHANBE, January 31, 2014, Asia-Plus — Woman from Dushanbe has set herself and three daughters aged between nine months and nine years on fire.

The tragic incident reportedly took place on January 28.  Ms. Maydamoh Umarova poured gasoline over herself and her daughters and set fire on herself and the kids in her parents’ house after a quarrel with her relatives.

They were rushed to the Burn Treatment Center, where Maydamoh Umarova died next day of burn injuries.  Her daughters are now at the Burn Treatment Center.  The nine-year-old girl who sustained a 50 percent total body surface area burn is in a critical health condition, her five-year-old sister sustained a 35 percent total body area burn and the nine-month-old baby girl sustained a 25 percent total body surface area burn.
