DUSHANBE, February 18, 2014, Asia-Plus – Officers from the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan (DCA) have reportedly seized a large amount of cannabis in Dushanbe.

According to the DCA press center, three packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to cannabis weighing five kilograms were found in an apartment of D.F., who has previous conviction for drug trafficking.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug peddler under the provisions of Article 200 (3) of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – drug trafficking; an investigation is under way.
