DUSHANBE, March 5, 2014, Asia-Plus — Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev yesterday held a meeting to discuss rehabilitation of some sections of the city streets after the past winter, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, said.

The meeting participants reportedly included the heads of commissions of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis), senior representatives of revenant municipal agencies, law enforcement agencies and representatives of civil society.

The meeting also discussed issues related to arrangement of green spaces and preparations for the Navrouz holiday.

Boboqul Muminov was appointed to head the Dushanbe health department, replacing Abdumuslim Temourov, who was retried for age reasons, Saidov added.
