DUSHANBE, April 30, Asia-Plus — An operation carried out by officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA)’s office for Sughd in the Mastchoh district has led to the arrest of alleged drug peddler, Khoushnoud Rahmatulloyev, a spokesman for the DCA, told Asia-Plus today.

Several packages of drug narcotic that tested positive to hashish weighing some 4 kilograms were reportedly confiscated from him.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
