Shahritus District of Khatlan Province Draft Committee members appeared before the court. In 2013, they illegally drafted 25 school students from the District.

According to Tahir Iskandarov, Chair of Khatlan Garrison Military Court, ten persons are charged from Shahritus District, including four school principals, two heads of

jamaats

, employees of the district education office and the military commissariat. They are all charged with Articles 314 (abuse of power), 316 (abuse of power), and 323 (forgery) of the Criminal Code.

It should be mentioned that Mahmoud Alimardanov, Military Prosecutor of Qorghanteppa Garrison, noted during one of his press-conferences that it was revealed during the preliminary investigation that 4 out of 25 illegally drafted school children were recalled from armed forces and came back home, but others asked to stay and serve in the armed forces.
