DUSHANBE, June 17, 2014, Asia-Plus – Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov has paid an official visit to Kazakhstan, the Tajik MFA information department reported on June 16.
During the visit, Aslov reportedly met with Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov, his Kazakh counterpart Yerlan Idrisov, and Kazakh Minister for Environmental Protection and Water Resources Nurlan Kapparov, who is also co-chairman of the Kazakh-Tajik commission for trade and economic cooperation.
The talks were focused on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
The sides also exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
