DUSHANBE, July 16, 2014, Asia-Plus — the 40-year-old resident of the northern city of Isfara, Qosimkhon Qodirov, has been detained in Dushanbe on suspicion of drug pushing.

The Interior Ministry’s website reports that more than seven kilograms of hashish were found hidden in his car.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against alleged drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
