DUSHANBE, July 21, 2014, Asia-Plus — A joint anti-terrorism exercise for special units of the Interior Ministry, the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) and the National Guard concluded at the end of last week, according to the Interior Ministry press center.

The purpose of a 17-day exercise that was held at the Mugon training Center in the Romit Gorge was to rehearse coordination and interaction in combat mission to annihilate a terrorist group.

The special unit and rapid reaction company of the Interior Ministry, the special unit of the National Guard, the SCNS special unit Alpha, as well as investigative, fire fighting and canine units were involved in the exercise, the source said.
