KULOB, July 22, 2-14, Asia-Plus — A fire that broke out at a private wholesale and retail market in Kulob overnight destroyed an area of 300 square meters.

This market is owned by local entrepreneur Shomad Odinayev.

The fire also partially damaged the Kulob central market Sakhovat, which adjoins Odinayev’s market.

According to the preliminary version, the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction in one of shops run at the market.

A commission is currently working at the fire site to assess an actual damage caused by the fire.
