DUSHANBE, September 10, 2014, Asia-Plus – On Tuesday September 9, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon received cables of congratulations on the occasion of the 23 rd anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence from President Vladimir Putin of Russia, President Xi Jinping of China, President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, President Almazbek Atambayev of Kyrgyzstan, President Qurbanguly Berdymukhammedov of Turkmenistan, President Islam Karimov of Uzbekistan, President Hassan Rouhani of the Islamic Republic of Iran,  President Joachim Gauck of Germany, President Didier Burkhalter of the Swiss Confederation, President Pranab Mukherjee of India,  Queen Elizabeth II of the United  Kingdom, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Prince Shah Karim Al Hussaini Aga Khan (IV), the spiritual leader of the Shia Imami Ismailia Muslims, Pop Francis, etc.

They wish President Rahmon further prosperity to Tajikistan and its people, hailing the achievements witnessed by Tajikistan.
