DUSHANBE, September 24, 2014 Asia-Plus — One of criminals who attacked Indian national in Dushanbe has been detained.

The Interior Ministry press center reports that Dushanbe resident Firouz Fayzov, 20, has been detained on suspicion of participation in an attack on the 40-year-old citizen of India Neogi Avisegi (phonetically spelled).

The incident reportedly took place not far from Kand Restaurant on the night of September 22.

“Firouz Fayzov and two his partners in crime – Farrukh Hoshimov, 22, from Khatlon’s Temourmalik district and a man named Saidjaffar – inflicted several stab wounds on Neogi Avisegi following quarrel,” the source said.

Neogi Avisegi was taken to the National Medical Center (Qariyai Bolo Hospital).
