DUSHANBE, September 24, 2014 Asia-Plus — A private soldier of the National Guard subunit deployed in the Rasht district (eastern Tajikistan) has hot himself.

The National Guard press center reports that private soldier Asadullo Poulodov, which is a native of the northern city of Istaravshan, died on September 23 after shooting himself with assault rifle Kalashnikov.

“According to the preliminary version, Asadullo Poulodov shot himself accidently,” the source said.

The Rasht military prosecutor’s office has reportedly launched investigation into the incident.
