DUSHANBE, October 3, 2014, Asia-Plus – Day of Draftee was held yesterday at all the four military registration and enlistment offices of Dushanbe.

An official source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office says veterans of Tajikistan’s Armed Forces, senior representatives of district administrations, activists of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and draftees’ parents attended the events.

“More than 80 young men from Dushanbe volunteered for the military service and administrations of Dushanbe’s districts gave presents to the volunteers,” the source said.
