DUSHANBE, October 8, 2014, Asia-Plus – On Tuesday October 7, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon laid a cornerstone of a boarding school in Khatlon’s Qubodiyon district, according to the president’s official website.

This boarding school will be a home for 240 orphaned and homeless children.

An estimated budget for construction of this boarding school is 9 million somoni and the project is expected to be completed in two years.

While in Qubodiyon, Rahmon also held talks with district administrators and local population.
