DUSHANBE, October 14, 2014, Asia-Plus – The British Embassy in Dushanbe says the United Kingdom has introduced new visa application process for citizens of Tajikistan.

Now Tajik citizens can apply online and once a month Teleperfomance, the commercial partner of UK Visas, will visit Dushanbe allowing applicants to submit their bio-data and supporting documentation at the Hyatt Hotel.

The service is available for most visas. Full details of how to apply can be found on the website http://www.ge2tj.tpcontact.co.uk/ or you can apply directly for your visa via https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/.

The new service will make applying for a visa easier and cheaper for citizens of Tajikistan, who previously had to travel to Almaty to apply for a visa.

The British Embassy in Tajikistan no longer has any involvement in issuing visas.  Management of the Visa service for all of Central Asia is handled by the British Consulate General in Istanbul.
