DUSHANBE, November 12, 2014, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmon is visiting the Yovon district of Khatlon province today.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the purpose of the visit is reportedly for the president to get acquainted with the socioeconomic situation in the area.

While in Yovon, Rahmon will visit a number of industrial enterprises and farming units and will attend ceremonies of official opening of several new facilities in the district.

The president will also meet with regional administrators and local population, the source said.
