DUSHANBE, November 19, Asia-Plus — Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov yesterday met here with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Sir Suma Chakrabarti.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, Sirojiddin Aslov and Sir Suma Chakrabarti discussed issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and the Bank.

The sides reportedly expressed readiness to continue implementing joint projects in Tajikistan. 

Sir Suma Chakrabarti was elected as the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on May 18, 2012 for the next four years, from July 3, 2012.
