DUSHANBE, November 23, 2014, Asia-Plus — Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov heading a Tajik government delegation arrived in Kuwait on November 22 for an official visit.
The Tajik MFA information department reports that Tajik foreign minister is scheduled to hold talks with a number of high-ranking Kuwaiti state officials to discuss bilateral cooperation.
According to data of the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan, trade between Tajikistan and Kuwait over the first ten months of this year has valued at only 30,000 U.S. dollars (USD), which is 40 percent fewer than in the same period last year. This consisted of only Tajikistan’s imports from Kuwait.
