DUSHANBE, November 27, 2014, Asia-Plus – Officers from the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan (DCA) have reportedly seized a large amount of hashish in Dushanbe.

According to the DCA press center, 64 package of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing 35 kilograms were found hidden in a truck that came to Dushanbe from Khatlon province.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted under the provisions of Article 200 (4) of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – drug trafficking; an investigation is under way.
