DUSHANBE, November 27, 2014, Asia-Plus – Heads of Tajikistan’s power-wielding structures and service branch commanders gathered at the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office in Dushanbe today to discuss issues related to implementation of the country’s law on the national border of Tajikistan, according to the Ministry of Defense (MoD).

An official source at a MoD says the meeting participants also discussed criminal proceedings instituted over hazing acts among servicemen last year and over the first nine months of this year.

Besides, they discussed issues related to providing the country’s border troops with skilled officers who would be able to control observance of army rules in their units, the source added.
