The former member of the lower house of Parliament, the former head of Vase district of Khatlan province, who used to be the first deputy leader of the Agrarian Party, Rustam Latifzadeh, was elected today as the Leader of the Party during the Party Congress.

A source in the Party reported to Asia-Plus that the party list was approved in the Congress for the upcoming 1 March 2015 parliamentary elections. The 14-person party list is headed by the new party leader, Rustam Latifzadeh. The source noted that the full list will be declared very soon.

After the death of the Agrarian Party Leader, member of the lower house of Parliament, Academician Amir Qaraqulov, on 10 March 2014, the Party was headed by his three deputies, especially the first deputy, Rustam Latifzadeh.
