KHUJAND, December 26, 2014, Asia-Plus — The Sughd regional budget for 2015 is expected to stand at nearly 1.3 somoni.

The 21st session of the Sughd local council (Majlis) took place in Khujand, the capital of the northern Sughd province on December 26.

According to the Sughd administration press center, Sughd governor Abdurahmon Qodiri reported on the results of socioeconomic development of the province over the first eleven months of this year and the regional budget for 2015.

The Sughd regional budget for 2015 is expected to stand at 1,292,850,000 somoni, which is 15.8 percent more than the region’s budget for this year.
