DUSHANBE, January 6, 2015, Asia-Plus — A special operation carried out by officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA)’s office for Sughd in the Spitamen district yesterday led to the arrest of two drug peddlers.

A package of hashish was confiscated from them.  The drug peddlers were going to push that hashish in the Spitamen district, according to the DCA press center.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug peddlers under the provisions of Article 200 (1) of Tajikistan’s Pena Code – drug trafficking; an investigation is under way.
