DUSHANBE, January 8, 2015, Asia-Plus — One more high-ranking police official has been nominated to the parliament.

A joint conference of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s organizations in Muminobood, Shouroobod and Khovaling districts has nominated the Chief of the Police Academy of Tajikistan, Major-General Jourakhon Zoir, to the lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of the parliament (Majlisi Oli).

We will recall that the PDP has nominated the chief of the Interior Ministry’s office in Khatlon, Major-General Anvar Taghoymurodov, to the Majlisi Namoyandagon.  Taghoymurodov will run for seat in the Majlisi Namoyandagon in the Qurghon Teppa single-mandate constituency.

An official source at the PDP says a joint conference of the PDP’s organizations in Qubodiyon, Shahritous and Nosir Khusrav districts has nominated Badriddin Sadriddinov to run for election to the parliament in the Qubodiyon single-mandate constituency.
