KHUJAND, January 15, 2015, Asia-Plus — Sughd province is expected to create its own film studio.
One of the first resolutions adopted by Sughd governor Abdurahmon Qodiri in 2015 is the resolution on creation of the film studio,
Sughd Sinamo
.
The main purpose of the resolution is to promote development of cinematography in the province, production of movies of high moral standards and to introduce Tajikistan to the international community through good movies, the Sughd administration press service reports.
The film studio,
Sughd Sinamo
, will function on the basis of the Theater named after Tuhfa Fozilova in the northern city of Konibodom.
Young Tajik film maker Muhiddin Jourayev has been appointed director of
