DUSHANBE, February 4, 2015, Asia-Plus – Police officers have reported seized a large amount of raw opium in the Hisor district.

The Interior Ministry’s website reports police officers found 8.66 kilograms of raw opium on February 3 while searching home of the 55-year-old resident of the Hisor district, Islom Yusufov.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against alleged drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
