DUSHANBE, February 11, 2015, Asia-Plus – Issues related to expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in preventing crime have been discussed at a meeting of Tajik Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda with Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan Hojatollah Faghani, according to the Interior Ministry press center.

Iranian Defense Attache Behzad Rafei and Counselor of the Iranian Embassy in Dushanbe Seyyed Mohsen Rashid ul-Islami also attended the meeting.

The sides discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation between the two countries in combating terrorism, extremism, separatism and trafficking in weapons, the source said.
