DUSHANBE, February 17, 2015, Asia-Plus – Fourteen countries of the world provided more than 4.8 million U.S. dollars worth of 535.3 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan last month, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the report period, among the donor countries the greatest share in value came from United States – 53.6 percent; Slovenia – 24.1 percent; Denmark – 6.9 percent; the Netherlands – 5.3 percent; China – 2.3 percent; Austria – 2.2 percent; Korea – 1.7 percent; the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – 1.3 percent each; and others.
