DUSHANBE, March 4, 2015, Asia-Plus — The last 21st session of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) of the fourth convocation will take place in Dushanbe on March 5.

Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli speaker, says the session will consider a number of laws adopted by Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) this year.

The Majlisi Milli is also expected to consider candidacies for deputy prosecutors general.

Giving consent to the appointment and relieving of the Prosecutor General and his deputies is one of powers of the Majlisi Milli.

We will recall that new deputy prosecutors general were appointed on February 26.

Narzullo Nazarzoda was appointed the first deputy prosecutor general.  Muhammadibrohim Osimzoda and Vali Vahhobzoda were appointed deputy prosecutors general while Rahim Mirzozoda was appointed chief military prosecutor and deputy prosecutor general.
