DUSHANBE, March 6, 2015, Asia-Plus — The Islamic Revival Party (IRP) condemns murder of Tajik opposition organization Group 24 leader Umarali Quvvatov and notes that this is a pure provocation.

“Russia opposition politician Boris Nemtsov and Kazakh dissident Rakhat Aliyev also died like Umarali Quvvatov recently.  These incidents darken political space in these countries irrespective of the fact what forces did these murders,” IRP leader Muhiddin Kabiri told Asia-Plus in an interview.

IRP leader stressed that assassination of political opponents will continue in a number of CIS nations “and tensions in these countries will grow and atmosphere of fear and distrust will be created in society.”
