DUSHANBE, April 1, 2015, Asia-Plus – Murodali Alimardon has been relieved of his post of Deputy Prime Minister in connection with transfer to other job, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Murodali Alimardon was born in the Hisor district on April 20, 1960. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Tajik National University in 1983.
In 1983-1991, he worked at the branch of Agrobank of the Tajik SSR in Cheptura. In 1991-1993, Alimardon headed Agrobank’s branch in Hisor.
In 1993-1996, he was head of the Agricultural and Industrial Bank “Sharq.” From 1996 to 2008, Alimardon was head of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT). He had been Deputy Prime Minister in charge of agriculture since January 28, 2008.
Murodali Alimardon, who is founder of many construction and agricultural enterprises in Tajikistan, is considered one of the wealthiest people in the country.
