Dushanbe. 31 August. “Asia Plus” — Tajik team took a 25th place in the team event at the World Championships in Athletics 2015, which was ended on August 30 in Beijing.

According to the official website of the World Championships in Athletics 2015, the team of Tajikistan has one silver medal of the world championship, along with the national teams of Ukraine, Belgium, Brazil, Egypt, Israel and Tunisia. Thus, the Tajik team shares the 25-30 places with these teams.

Recall, the only award of the last World Championship in Athletics in Tajikistan brought a hammer thrower Dilshod Nazarov, for which he was awarded the “Sharaf” Order by the President of Tajikistan.

Meanwhile, the best in the team event competition at the World Championships in Athletics 2015 was the team of Kenya. Athletes from the African country won 16 awards: 7 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze medals.

The second place belongs to the team of Jamaica (7-2-3). Closes the top three the US team (6-6-6). Russian team has four medals and ninth place.

Among the countries of Central Asia except Tajikistan team, the award received the national team of Kazakhstan – one bronze medal.
